ABC News now has obtained 52 separate instant message exchanges, which former pages say were sent by Foley, using the screen name Maf54, to two different boys under the age of 18.

This message was dated April 2003, at approximately 7 p.m., according to the message time stamp.

However, when a drug addict robs someone's home to provide money to fuel their addiction, the line has been crossed. There are 12 step programs specifically for that. SAA, SLAA, SA etc. More than likely, Foley is a 'sex addict' and his new recovery program includes this. There are several treatment facilities throughout the country for this very thing. The man needs to be held accountable for his actions and seek treatment if he hasn't already.

Good chance he has a history of porn, prostitutes, and promiscuity in his 'second life'. Its more common than you might think. It's now estimated that up to 15% of the population has issues with sexual compulsion and addiction.

We are a nation of addicts. Food, sex, prescription drugs, illegal drugs and alcohol, gambling, etc. My partner is a physician and I have begun work as a hypnotherapist and its amazing how many people have issues with addiction in all its forms.

My late husband was addicted to pornography. Every time I confronted him about it and asked him what he found so attractive, he had no answer. I am horrified to read those e-mail exchanges, but not particularly surprised. These people are after power, whether it is power in politics, or power over vulnerable minors.

They abuse these young people, just as they abuse people of color, the poor, women, people from other countries, people with different belief systems, people of different sexual orientations, people of opposing political parties, and so on.
