Body of Enron's Lay to be cremated
HOUSTON (Reuters) -- The body of Enron Corp. founder Ken Lay will be cremated and his ashes buried in Aspen, Colo., where he died this week of an apparent heart attack, a newspaper reported Friday.

The Houston Chronicle, quoting a source close to Lay's family, said the cremation and Aspen burial had been Lay's wish because the mountain town, where he once owned several properties, was his favorite place in the world.

7. Or someone has something to hide.
Perhaps some evidence of something else, perhaps asphyxiation, a bullet, or some other cause of death other than that registered on his death certificate. I've been keeping a running tab on this story as it develops at http://www.republicansareidiots.com.

yaThink he stopped his heart meds to beat his creditors/employees one more time?

He had a previous heart attack, reportedly.

So, he figures, why serve all that time in the slammer and lose that filthy lucre, when I can just stop taking my heart meds, maybe.

The same suspicion arose in the case of Milosevic.

21. United Methodist--they do allow cremation.
The Roman Catholic Church even allows it now.

But Ken Lay's social set in Houston favors big honking mausoleums--perhaps in Glenwood Cemetery, where Howard Hughes was buried.

26. My guess is that he is indeed dead. But, that wasn't his plan.
He knew too much about where the "skeletons were hidden", particularly about the CIA offshore groups.
I never thought that he would be prosecuted. However, from a cover up standpoint, it has worked out perfectly for the administration. They seem to have outstanding luck regarding the untimely deaths of potentially damaging testimony.
