Pak-Saudi Arabia strong allies against global terrorism: PM
Today's hoot.
:rofl::rofl:

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are two countries share similar views on a broad range of regional and international issues and are allies against the specter of global terrorism which is a threat to all faiths and societies.

"We condemned terrorism and extremism in all its forms," Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz stated this on the occasion of lunch hosted in honour of Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia here Sunday.

"we have been playing a key role in the flighty against terrorism and have achieved major successes. At the same time, we believe that a lasting solution of the problem requires addressing its root causes. We reject the false linkage being drawn between terrorism and Islam, a faith of peace, compassion and tolerance. We also condemn the unjustified vilification of Muslims as has been demonstrated through the printing of the blasphemous sketches in some western counties", he said.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz said that in our region, Pakistan remains committed to the composite dialogue process with India. A durable peace in the region requires a just settlement of the Kashmir dispute-which lies at the heart of Pakistan-India relations. We hope India will respond positively to the initiatives taken by Pakistan in this regard.

1. Pakistan & Saudi Arabia, hm?
"At the same time, the problem requires addressing its root causes".

Is this perhaps why Saudi Arabia has been giving money to the Madrasas, and Al Qaida?

4. LIES

While factions of the Saudi Royal family are anti-Terror, the Punjabi dominated Pakistan government is not.

Pakistan without radical Islam WILL collapse. All reasonable objective people inside and outside of Pakistan understand this.

The Pakistan ISI, is arguably, the most well funded and trained terrorist group in the world. They have been at the HEART of the creation of Al-Qaeda, hundreds of Jihadi groups, the Taliban and others.

The U.S. should prepare for a isolation of the country and working with truly democratic forces within the country, specifically the ANP party of Asfandyar Wali Khan.

Pakistan is an unnatural state that is a hold over from British India. It will not naturally hold together today or tomorrow.

6. Since when do beleaguered autocrats
Edited on Mon Apr-17-06 08:24 AM by PATRICK
really have the weight of actually BEING the nation, besides saying they are on occasion. Bush is America. The Saudi princes scared to death of radical competition are heroic nation against terrorism. Musharraf trying to keep his head and title tries to keep his boys quiet as an example of an entire nation working hard against....itself??? By the same token Iran, by cutting back on its activities is a heroic nation against terrorism.

Not surprisingly, stateless people without heads of state who stand for the whole collective nation, cannot be heroes against terrorism. Wonder of wonders, many of them are terrorists.

So heads of state who make deals and get along are heroes against terrorism no matter what else and those outside the club are champions of terror. It seems simple and very few people to concentrate on.
