Suit alleges anti-white bias in Miss. (allegations towards Dem Party)

Suit alleges anti-white bias in Miss.

MACON, Miss., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- The U.S. Justice Department is suing a Mississippi county Democratic Party chairman for discriminating against white voters.

The lawsuit alleges Ike Brown and local elections officials in Noxubee County challenged whites' voting status, rejected their absentee ballots and instructed voters to choose candidates according to race, ABC News reports.

It is the first time the Justice Department has claimed that whites suffered discrimination in voting because of race.

Brown called the lawsuit "bogus," and said it was politically motivated.

1. Aww, look what Justice found to investigate.
Yup. This is where the problem is. And don't forget: they both do it. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Poor discriminated-against white christian men.

2. Funny how the DOJ ignores the discrimination against blacks in Ohio
Once again the Bush administration is going after their political enemies.

Just ask the church being investigated by the IRS for politics while Falwell and Robertson get away scott free.

19. That was my first thought.
Put Fitzgerald and Spitzer on Falwell and Robertson and I would bet a case could be made.

PAt Robertson and Jerry Falwell have been skating on political ice for to long while using their religious beliefs as a front for their scams.

22. Has anything been done about what happened in Florida?
If there has been accountability I take my words back, but I highly doubt anything has happened.

6. It's aimed at stopping Rethugs from voting in Dem primaries
Mississippi is trending blue, believe it or not, because the black population (all Dem) is growing while the white population (almost all RePuke) is declining. Dem officials have started checking IDs of white people voting in Dem primaries because almost NONE of them are dems.

9. If that's the case....
"Dem officials have started checking IDs of white people voting in Dem primaries because almost NONE of them are dems."

Then the Dem officials were in the wrong. MS has an open primary system. To challenge someone's voter qualifications based on race is wrong, no matter the race.

That all said, I wish that Bush's JD was as vigilant about other crappola.

11. DISCRIMINATING??!
By all means THEY are the ones voting against OUR party. Since when has the democratic party been about the white christian men of the country? What, voting against democrats isn't good enough, they need to have the democrats work for them after the fact too? Maybe they should...you know... vote democrat next time.

13. The truthful answer to your question is embarrassing
You asked, "Since when has the democratic party been about the white christian men of the country?"

Unfortunately, the truthful, historical answer is, "Pretty much forever except for the last 4 decades or so."

Sadly, the Democratic Party was essentially the party of slavery through the Civil War and the party of segregation and discrimination for the century following. It was not until the 1940's that some in the party began to question that stance and not until the 1960's that the party got serious about civil rights. While the party finally got its heart right on that issue it was very late to do so.

They've switched.

The dems now are not of the same ilk as the dems then, nor are the republicans.

18. So that's the strategy for the next election...
....where last time, they painted Dems as the party of gays and gay marriage. Now they're going to try to paint us as the "Black Party." Making the Republicans the White Party by default.

Sadly, if they have the control of the Press, they will be largely successful.
