Feldkamp won't keep tainted (Cunningham) cash
http://www.registerguard.com/news/2005/11/30/d1.cr.feldkampduke.1130.p1.php?section=cityregion

excerpt: A candidate for the Lane County area congressional seat announced Tuesday that he would not keep money donated to him by a California congressman who accepted bribes and evaded taxes.

Jim Feldkamp, a GOP candidate for Oregon's 4th Congressional District, said he will give to charity the $1,000 he received from the political action committee of former California GOP Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, who resigned Monday after pleading guilty to taking $2.4 million in bribes.

Feldkamp issued his announcement in advance of criticism from Democrats who have in the past publicly called on Feldkamp to return money from another political leader with legal and ethical troubles.

This fall, the Democratic Party of Oregon called on Feldkamp to give back $10,000 he had received from a political action committee controlled by former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

what a weazel. If it wasn't for Cunningham resigning in shame, he would have made sure to hold on to it, however well he knew the money was dirty.

3. At least not as long as everyone else knows it's dirty.
Didn't keep him from taking it in the first place, of course.
