3. Is this the Col. who claims WMD were inserted?
Said Operations tried to insert WMD in IRAQ but were ambushed and the attempt was foiled? Did she ever produce evidence? Anyone in commitees
talk to her?

7. Every lie exposed, even re-exposed
is another brick, ripped out of the walls of the prison state
construction program. The best way to get out of abuse is to smack the pervert in the head with a frying pan while he is filling the bathtub he intends to drown you in.

I say -- You go! If you have just twigged to the situation, how much better that you have your resume. We have known it for quite a while, but we are outsiders, and it is easier to see the forest from
a bit off, rather than sitting on a tree branch.

Now, go get that axe and get busy.

Very slooo-oooo-wwwww. Look how long it took them to get to the California fire story.

They only recenty figured out * could be criticized and the sky wouldn't fall.

Give 'em another 10 years; they might figure it out.

8. Ah, La_Serpiente, if only we HAD an American press
Instead of the writhing, sniveling snakes' nest of sycophants with perfect hair and blindingly white teeth that passes for press in this country!

Our press serves only the five corporations who effectively control everything we see, hear and read in this benighted nation. The CEOs of those five corporations have decided they will support bu$h even if it means America goes to hell--which it is rapidly doing, without even a handbasket.

16. captive psychology
Once hijacked or taken prisoner the victim begins to have that "special relationship" with the oppressor.

Of course, it has taken so long for anyone to wake up that the intermediate stage of REALIZING one has been hijacked has been comfortably skipped. Since the news is anything but the news of late, they may be the very last to realize it, but the first to claim its "discovery"- sometime in 2025.

Just what has taken these professional intelligent people so long to figure out what was coming. The goon parade marching their way was hardly well disguised.

9. when will people recognize
the obvious connection to all this with Cheney. He is a snake and it amazes me how people just stick their head in the sand and think it will all just go away. Cheney is very dangerous.

11. Think back
Cheney probably invented the term "compassionate conservative" and pushed Bush* as the candidate. As a consultant he helped Bush* review potential vice presidential candidates, but in the end place himself there. (He probably intended to do this all along.)

Is it no wonder that Bush* was taken for a ride on 9-11. Cheney sent him on a wild goose chase, so that he was out of the way.

Cheney is the "Dark Knight."

14. Now where the hell are those "secret" energy meeting
notes that Herr Cheney cannot share with the American people?

Secret, shadow government bypassing congress and the check and balance system so craefully crafted in our Constitution. Cockroaches and vampires hiding in the dark.

Blood is dripping from his evil, greedy hands and there will be a special place in purgatory for him.

13. Same Kwaitkowski who published back in July
This is the same retired Intel officer who had an article called "Career officer does eye-opening stint inside Pentagon" back this summer. It was pretty widely printed in regional press outlets, though I don't think it made a lot of headway in the national-level stuff. I think I saw it in the Mpls Star-Trib, but I can't remember for sure. Here's a copy of it:
http://nuance.dhs.org/lbo-talk/0308/0402.html

She's upping the rhetoric of her accusation a bit. Google on her and you'll see a lot of right wing smears on her. Gaffney seems to be the chief self-appointed smearer.

17. Well, it's not "new" news to us. The PNAC Express is well known
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 03:11 PM by Flying_Pig
here at DU. We need to make it known everywhere. We also need to fight against Israel's influence on our foreign policy. Sharon/Likud is allied with PNAC, and uses their friends in the media, and in PACs like AIPAC, to influence our Congress. Look at some of the votes on foreign policy issues, even those of the Dems, and you can find PNAC's and Israel's fingerprints all over them.

Likewise, you can find PNAC's and Israel's fingerprints all over the Syrian convoy attack mentioned in this article. Israel has been banging the drums loudly (almost as loud as they did on Iraq) for a U.S. invasion of Syria. The principals of PNAC (Wolfowitz, Feith, Perle, Abrams, Bolton, et al) are all people working with Cheney, and coincidentally, all have worked for Israel at one time or another too.

Why there is such a "hands off" attitude in discussing the incestuous relationship between the PNAC neocons and Israel, is beyond me. Even here at DU, as a tactic to kill the discussion of these issues, there are those immediately attack anyone who brings them up, as being anti-Semitic, even a person of Jewish heritage such as myself.

These issues need to be brought out into the open and discussed. Burying them in I/P, is no way to shed light on the situation.

18. Why am I reading this in a foreign newspaper?
She described "a subversion of constitutional limits on executive power and a co-optation through deceit of a large segment of the Congress", adding that "in order to take that first step - Iraq - lies had to be told to Congress to bring them on board". :grr:

19. Why? Perhaps proof of fascist collusion between the media and
the Bush regime? I just sent a copy of this to the San Francisco Chronicle, and demanded to know why this story isn't being covered here. Maybe my friend Harley Sorenson (a Chron writer) will pick up the sword?

24. You give him way too much credit
George W. Bush is nothing more than a useful idiot for the neo-cons, just look at his resume, he's an incurious fuck up that likes role playing.

He is merely another "banner" for their cynical, deceptive slogans. Nothing more
