Report: Nazi doctor who killed hundreds found in Spain

JERUSALEM A Nazi war criminal known as "Doctor Death" has reportedly been found living in Spain.
An Israeli newspaper Web site says the 91-year-old (Aribert Heim) will soon be arrested by Spanish police. He's believed to have killed hundreds of concentration-camp inmates during World War Two.

The newspaper said the fugitive earned the nickname for his especially sadistic experiments on inmates, which involved injecting them with poisons and performing surgery without anesthesia.

It was a rather creepy time, to be honest. Very Cold War and authoritarian....the Guardia Civil were quitessential "jack booted thugs" in incredibly intimidating and silly looking uniforms....
