News, blogs share space at Yahoo!
Web site to test news search service that will include 'citizen journalists,' traditional outlets.

Yahoo! Inc. said Monday it will begin featuring the work of self-published Web bloggers side by side with the work of professional journalists, leveling distinctions between the two.

The move will further stoke the debate between media traditionalists who want to maintain strict walls between news and commentary and those who argue such boundaries are elitist and undervalue the work of "citizen journalists."

Is this the first step to take back the corporation-controlled media?

On the one hand, Yahoo! will put blogs side by side with the MSM.
On the other hand, bloggers won't be considered worthy of journo status and wouldn't receive protections under the proposed federal shield law.

Looks like the bloggers who show up in Yahoo! news will be walking quite a tightrope.

4. Corporate media have brought this on
by ignoring the truth systematically. People finally figured out that they were only going to get 1/2, if that much, of the truth from the Corporate Media Empires.

So the bloggers have risen to fill the gap. People are hungry for the truth. We no longer trust the sold-out Corporate Crap.

Sic Transit Gloria Media Mundi.
