One of the London bombing suspects is believed to have been arrested in a raid in West London, as police carry out a number of armed operations.

A BBC correspondent said he was thought to be the person wanted in connection with the attempted bombing at Oval Tube station on 21 July.

At least two properties are believed to have been raided, in Notting Hill and North Kensington, and residents moved.
