Knifeman seizes German children

"An unidentified man armed with a knife has taken up to seven children hostage in a house in north-western Germany.

Police say they have surrounded the house in Ennepetal, in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

According to German television, the man had taken the children hostage on a bus before moving them to the house. His motives are not yet known."

man has taken 4-7 children age 11-12 from the bus to a house in resedential area in Western Germany. Police trying to secure area but officials don't know what the man wants. No communication with hostage taker so far.

3. German News says it's probably

four girls between 11 and 15 years old. The man has two knifes, is in his mid-50's, born in Iran and unlikely to be on drugs or alcohol. He took the girls into the cellar of a nearby house.
The police is trying to talk to him right now.
