Fifteen members of anti-climate change group Rising Tide waved banners and presented 250 protest letters during the hour-long sit-in at the Labor Party's Sussex Street headquarters.

Police removed 12 demonstrators but had to wait to obtain bolt cutters to remove another three who had chained themselves to parts of the building.
