Bush sends chilly warning to Sinn Fein
---------------------------------------
---------------------------------------

WASHINGTON (AFP) - President George W. Bush (news - web sites) shut his St Patrick's Day celebrations to leaders of the Irish Republican Army (news - web sites)'s political wing to protest what one aide described as the IRA's "thuggery and gangsterism."

White House officials did not to publicly single out Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams, who is on a trip to the United States. They said Bush was frustrated with Northern Ireland political parties in general, but made clear in private that the IRA was in Washington's crosshairs.

"We have hosted the leaders of the political parties in Northern Ireland in recent years in order to encourage progress toward a comprehensive peace agreement," said Bush spokesman Scott McClellan.

"We have seen recently that there has been a lack of progress," added McClellan. "Continued violence, paramilitary activity and associated criminal acts remain a key obstacle to a lasting and durable peace."

But a senior administration official, speaking on condition he not be named, told AFP the United States "is particularly unhappy with the continued IRA thuggery and gangsterism ... and that's the message that's being sent."

12. No--England.
According to Shrubya's regime, he supports "freedom," doesn't want to support tyranny, supports democracy...

England is still holding Northern Ireland under direct rule, so by *'s rules, we should bomb England for not restoring the Assembly and giving Northern Irish people rule over their own affairs.

7. S'like lookin in a mirror ain't it GW?
say, is emu-laytin the word I am looking for here?

This administration is so far up the asses of the collective world we will have to expectorate them out.

You know, I see the goal of this administration...it is to wear our asses out so we just lay down and wave the white flag. I mean, it is a dozen things a day...divide and conquer, chip away at the block, pick at the wound...name your euphemism and they are planning it.

I need a vacation..oh but where to take one now that we are OUT of the world court. If I hit a car in Mexico, and don't have enough insurance, will I ROT in jail now?

OK, I am tired, time for bed....rant over (for now)
