Passengers Occupy Brussels Plane in Iran Protest
BRUSSELS (Reuters) - A group of passengers of Iranian origin refused to disembark from a plane at Brussels airport in an apparent political protest on Thursday, police and airline staff said.
The 59 unarmed passengers were talking to the authorities, police spokeswoman Els Cleemput said, after other passengers and crew left the Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt and the pilot disabled the plane.

Belgium's RTL television said the group were Iranian monarchists and had handed a statement to police protesting about European Union relations with the Islamic Republic. They demanded to meet European parliamentarians or ambassadors.

2. US Passengers Refuse To Disembark Until Bush Is Impeached
Edited on Thu Mar-10-05 03:51 PM by mhr
One can hope.

Wouldn't be nice to organize a group for something large like a 777 or 747 and then refuse to leave until Bush is toast.

That would be an effective protest!

It would certainly get the attention of the MSM.

4. If millions of people around the world
protesting couldn't stop them from starting a war, a plane full of people aren't going to do jack.

But it would get media attention.

Well, maybe. Depends on what M Jackson is doing that day.

5. You would get beaten and dragged off of the plane.
It's a violation of our Homeland Security laws to disobey any orders to you given by an airline and/or it's representatives.
