Rice Backs International Probe of Hariri Assassination
-snip-

"She again said that while the United States is not assigning blame for the car-bomb killing, Syria bears a "special responsibility" for what happens in Lebanon because of its troop presence there."

...starts to sound a bit like "hmm, September 11 ... how can we spin this ... IRAQ! THEY HAVE LINKS TO AL QAEDA! THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE! WE SAID SO!"

6. This is only AFTER Syria supported France's call for an investigation
Once again the U.S. is upstaged by an axis of evil* country.

*Syria is not technically an axis of evil country, but would be now if Bush was to repeat his speech.

11. The only real question is, was it Mossad or the CIA?
The timing of this is just a little too convenient.

Have any other countries reacted almost instantly to this killing as if they knew in advance that it was going to happen and who they were going to blame?

13. It seems that everything egregious that we accuse other nations
of are just duplicates of our own sorry and pathetic policies. How can we admonish any country on elections, assassinations, arms, nuclear bombs, etc., etc.?

15. Why bother with a probe? Why not pull the answer out of your ass like
usual? You know the answer will be AlQaeda, Iran or Syria.
