Dav id Nyhan,a great liberal from The Boston Globe dies.

He apparently had a heart attack after shoveling snow at his home.

He retired a couple of years ago but still wrote columns for the Lawrence Eagle Tribune and was leaving this week for the tsunami area.

1. Oh dear
I used to read his column when I was in college back there.

This is a bad day: we lost two "grown-ups" in the news and entertainment business, Carson and Nyhan.

2. And a historical figure as well (for better or worse)
Rosemary Woods, of the famous eighteen and a half minute gap during the Nixon regime, died today. I wonder if she left a journal. I hope she did.

4. no, it's important
i think the people who lose their lives also would probably like for others to learn from it and try to avoid it.

6. Sad....he influenced a lot of people when he was writing for the Globe.
It was a great paper in the 70s....

7. This is really sad news.
David Nyhan was a man who could think straight and had a great sense of humor as well. His absence will be felt.
