I saw a post the other day which listed a long list of Republican Sex Offenders.

* Republican legislator Edison Misla Aldarondo was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping his daughter between the ages of 9 and 17.

* Republican Mayor Philip Giordano is serving a 37-year sentence in federal prison for sexually abusing 8- and 10-year old girls."

This list was really outdated, as it was from May, 2006, and doesn't include Mark Foley or this last one, from Idaho(?).

I've just gotten into domain name selling seriously in the last month or so. I've been registering names for a little over 2 years now. 95.5% of them are male, no surprise there. 64.3% are white - The Census Bureau's 2005 American Community Survey reported that 74.7% of the population is white, so that's no surprise either.

Since men are more likely to be registered as Republicans, that is one good reason you hear about Republican sex offenders. I think the other is the intense hypocrisy of some of the high-profile ones, which is fair enough, they deserve it.

But clearly the problem is not limited to white males.

That's OK with me, but you have presented no facts to refute it. As a matter of fact, you haven't presented any facts at all. I stated up front that #13 was my opinion. I don't represent it as fact, but in the absence of verifiable information to the contrary it's usually safe to assume that the prevalence of a particular trait in one subset of the population is about the same as in any other subset of the population.

22. agreed, party line shouldn't and won't determine whether they are on the list

but keeping them separated will show the difference in the parties. I did search for Dems also, and only came up with 2, as stated in a post above. However, these two were never charged, nor convicted, with a crime. Allegations alone wont get you listed if I do this site, only convicted or plead guilty, where it's in the public records, so there is no way to get hit with slander or libel suits.

If anyone has a reliable source for Dem offenders, please point me to it.
