Another state is introducing abortion legislation
Oklahoma has several pending bills intended to "reduce" abortions. I copied this from The Oklahoman, but I haven't provided a link since the story itself was so short and reading it would require registration.

House Bill 2496, by Rep. John Trebilcock, R-Broken Arrow, would create the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act. The bill would require that a woman considering an abortion be informed that her child could experience pain during the procedure if the child is 20 weeks or older. The bill also would require that a woman be counseled about the option of anesthesia for the unborn child.

House Bill 2654, by House Speaker Pro Tempore Susan Winchester,
R-Chickasha, would create the Oklahoma Statistical Reporting Abortion
Act and require physicians performing abortions to report information to
state authorities so abortions can be statistically tracked.

House Bill 2614, by Rep. Kevin Calvey, R-Del City, would require
that a woman seeking an abortion be told she could view the baby
through an ultrasound.

1. most men really, really hate abortion
Well, not the procedure itself, since they love the idea of being able to get out from under a potential 18 years of child support. What they hate is not being the ones to make the final decision about it.

Expect to see more of this crap, and expect to see doormat women filing the stupid legislation for them.

96 percent of Oklahoma counties have no abortion provider

Oklahoma law subjects women seeking abortions to biased counseling requirements and mandatory delays.

Oklahoma prohibits certain qualified health care professionals from performing abortions.

Oklahoma allows certain individuals or entities to refuse to provide women specific reproductive health services, information, or referrals.

Oklahoma restricts low-income women's access to abortion.

Oklahoma law restricts young women's access to abortion services by mandating parental notice.

Targeted Regulation of Abortion Providers (TRAP)
Oklahoma has an unconstitutional and unenforceable law that subjects abortion providers to burdensome restrictions not applied to other medical professionals.
