I suspect the "dragging" will take very little effort.
I am looking forward to getting to meet some of the people in this area who are part of DU.
Is the "fern" part of your moniker indicative of Ferndale? My wife and I worked for Kerry out of the Ferndale office.
In about a month we ought to have some things taken care of which will allow us to do some other things we've been wanting to do. We'd like to participate with the Women in Black. And we would also be interested in helping to inform people about Wal-Mart.

8. haha, no fern is unrelated to ferndale

It's a name I attributed quotes to when writing papers in school 20+ years ago, when I wanted to cite the perfect passage to illustrate my point, but couldn't find it. "Why I Left America" by L. W. Fern was a nonexistent book that appeared in a lot of my footnotes. :D

(There may have also been a mural I painted for an army barracks at one point in honor of the great patriot L. W. Fern, who had a different and quite inspiring background according to the mural proposal I submitted.)
