Edited on Fri Jul-11-03 05:00 PM by TahitiNut
I doubt that freepers in general are able to make all online polls swing wildly. Some of the online polling has sufficient safeguards against wholesale poll-busting. For the technically-inclined, however, cobbling together a (spoofed IP) HTML interaction (protocol emulation) that provides the 'appropriate' responses to cookies would be a walk in the park. There are many thousands of folks (many of them unemployed in the Busholini eronomy) with enough technical expertise to do this. It really ain't rocket science, just the tiresome minutiae of TCP/IP/HTML protocol emulation.

IMHO, "whom" is properly used (as the object) in the polling question, and I'm a "whom"-er variety of nitpicker. :silly:

Consider the rephrased: "Do you blame (whom) for the mistake <sic> ...? " and "You blame (whom) for the mistake <sic> ... !"

See? (Clearly, "mistake" is the inappropriate term which should be <sic>'ed.)

21. You Mean Clinton's PENIS
Maybe there should be separate categories between Clinton and Clinton's penis. Clinton is too shifty a character himself to accept any blame. But you can always blame things on that willful dick of his. It's out of control, and everybody knows it. Especially the Freepers.

38. My email to Blitzer
Mr. Blitzer:
This is hardly a fair poll for conservatives. After all, you left off their favorite whipping boy: William Jefferson Clinton. How can you expect a truly represenative answer when the reason for every conservative complaint is not even part of the question?

:P

28. It's still running 95% Bunnypants as of this writing (16:25 Eastern)
It's not the "British Intelligence State of the Union Address." It's not the "CIA State of the Union Address." It's not even the "Rumsfeld State of the Union Address" (not officially, anyway). The responsibility lies (so to speak) right at the doorstep of the Oval Office (not that I think for a minute * takes any responsibility for it).

I seem to recall that it was Bush in front of congress doing the talking not Tenet. Bush has the ultimate responsibility to make sure what he says is accurate.

Condi had to be the most worthless NSA in US history. Her role seems to be more like a security version of Ari rather than an adviser.

54. why, they could use this poll!
Seems to me that it can be spun effectively! All they have to do is leave out the question and claim that 95% of the 11K people recently responding to a CNN poll said, in effect, : "Bush is the man!"

Thus, they can spin gold from dross and up his current phony rating by 5 points. Don't underestimate 'em.
