Bush announces nomination of next ambassador to Afghanistan (WOW)
WOW!! Wood is going from Colombia, the world's largest producer of cocaine, to Afghanistan, the world's largest producer of opium. Now that should make people wonder. Maybe he's managing the CIA drug business. I did hear that opium output in Afghanistan has tripled since we bombed them into democracy. :crazy:

<clips>

WASHINGTON: President George W. Bush plans to nominate the current U.S. ambassador to Colombia to become ambassador in Afghanistan.

If confirmed, William Wood would leave a job as ambassador to a country where drugs are a major worry for another in which narcotics are considered a top problem.

Colombia is the world's largest cocaine producer and is believed to be the source of 90 percent of the cocaine consumed in the United States. Opium production in Afghanistan last year rose 49 percent, enough to make about 670 tons of heroin. That is more than 90 percent of the world's supply and more than the world's addicts consume in a year.

2. Makes sense for a mafia-owned administration.
And there's no doubt from their actions that's what they are.

10. This is why Bush wants bases on the Moon and Mars...
we need to find at least three more planets if we want to sell all of Afghanistan's opium.

11. Yet, their illustrious Fed DEA agents are busy in California
raiding clinics that serve chronically ill and dying patients with valid prescriptions for marijuana. Clinics that are appropriately taking steps toward regulation and ARE validly state sponsored. But no, Gonzo must send his goons in to shake down Grandma. :(

It's true that Bush-Co. is "The Unitary Executive" where FEDERAL regulations rule us all. :thumbsdown:
