It's a British series about a top London Surgeon who takes a position as as a Family Doctor in a tiny Cornish village because he develops a phobia to blood. It's comedic drama and absolutely hysterically funny. The first 4 seasons are on Netflix (season 5 is being filmed now). It's the best comedy out of Britain in years.

Also, there are many British 'costume dramas' to stream - Dickens (Our Mutual Friend, Little Dorrit, Bleak House, etc), Austen (Pride & Prejudice etc).

'A Touch of Frost' is an excellent crime drama with very little (if any) gore - 15 seasons to keep you amused.

Suggest looking under 'British TV' and 'British Drama' there a goldmine of good viewing waiting there.
