17. I agree
It's been frustrating to watch almost the exact same dynamic occur both under President Clinton and President Obama. Both Presidents were kneecapped before they could (barely) get started. While not disparaging dissent and/or criticism, it would still be nice if we all could unite around one or two specific agenda items and stay focused long enough to make some progress towards achieving them instead of having a multitude of different subgroups constantly arguing with each other over how, when, where.............

I thought that we might've learned from what happened during Clinton's Presidency but I guess we're going to be stuck re-learning it again with President Obama. I just hope and, yes, pray, that President Obama is still given a chance to succeed (more) with the remainder of his term and, hopefully, election to a second term. Of course, he will really need a more progressive Congress to work with (more non-insane Republicans might help but they seem awfully lost at the moment in terms of being reasonable bargaining partners) if we want him to be able to get some more good policies signed into law.
