82. OP, what do you feel is "the right" and what is "the left"? I KNOW my opinions

and positions are different from those of some others here, but I don't think of it as a right/left thing, rather a range of people's thoughts and ideas. I am not a pacifist, and never have been, but I know there are some here who are-but we are all in sympathy with the causes and goals that are deemed "leftist" or "progressive", at least overall. We all support better social programs, health care, civil rights, human freedom...at least I hope so.

I have only been here since 2008, and I see this repeatedly-that DU is different now...is it bad that there is a range of opinions here?
