We don't know what they've kept secret. There is a whole classification category that is so classified that government agents can't even acknowledge it exists, let alone that it is classified.
But it isn't really about keeping shit "secret". It is about perception management. It is about seeding disinformation along with the information; keeping people all riled up, divided and at each others throats, disagreeing about ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING -- just so long as we never have a clear, agreed upon understanding of the corrupt system that controls us and what could be done to change it.
