65. That was one of the best moments for the people, during the
awful Bush years. Rumsfeld stopped security from hauling him off and engaged him in conversation. McGovern was incredible, he was cool but determined. For the first time, someone actually asked Rumsfeld the questions the media should have asked. But Rummy gets some of the only credit I would ever give him for not stopping the conversation even though it was not going well for him.

I remember how excited we were. Sad really that one man's conversation with one of the war criminals asking the right questions, created such a stir. But that's how bad things were back then.

Ray McGovern is a hero. Hillary Clinton owes him an apology. But she will not do it.
