because he wears Old Spice instead of my husband, who doesn't. This will immediately cause me to run out to a public place, madly sniffing every strange man I see and pouncing on the first one I find who smells of Old Spice. Sure.

Don't you think the point of the ad was to get people to buy Old Spice for themselves or their significant other so the women in question would not lust after the hot actor instead?

But seriously -- you need to get a life and stop taking ads literally. Subliminal advertising or not, most people aren't that dumb. And if I want to commit adultery anyhow, that's my business. And it wouldn't be on account of somebody smelling of Old Spice.
