... in the summer of 1994, including 10 days in Cairo. I learned to get around on the mini-van transit (privately owned vehicles) by using hand signals. These mini-vans did not have any identifying route numbers on them. You knew where they were going by the hand signals of the person in the passenger seat. Those wishing to board do the same hand signals from the street. The hand gesture for Tahrir Square is placing all five fingers together and making a circular motion (indicating the traffic circle). I was in the front passenger seat a few times and was responsible for signal duty out the window.

It's hard to believe that the babies and toddlers from 1994 are the ones leading this all. Amazing!
