61. I always resented how much space is devoted to sports in newspapers.
There are so many other things going on that could use a mention. But, no, it's sports, sports, sports.

I'm also amazed, upon hearing man-on-man conversations, at how so many men have little to say to other men except trivialities about sports.

Also, I recall my dad getting pissed off when, after he made fun of my mom for "wasting time" watching a silly TV show, I pointed out to him that he watched football, and what was the point of that? He didn't appreciate my comment. :D
