34. Your looking short term, the owners aren't.
Baseball is just recovering attendance from their strike in the 90s. Hockey is going to have to contract in the next 5years because of their strike. 5 billion next year isn't worth losing 2 billion a year over the next 20 years which is what will happen to football if they don't have a real season next year. They worked to hard to become the national pastime to lose it all now.
