The Snowden revelations reflect badly on the president and the nation. Unfortunately that is not all that is reflecting badly on the president.

The media is 100% united in their criticism of Snowden. Therefore I am very suspicious of the media's anti-Snowden sentiments.

Some of the President's internet defenders are employees, paid to give him support.

Others, critical of the President, are anti-Obama ideologues, often racists. Some of the criticism of Obama is also done by paid internet warriors. Of this I have no doubt.

Then there are the rest of us, real people with real opinions and concerns about the nation. It makes for a total mess.
