4. I thought she sounded intelligent, but not likeable. Tim Kaine sounded very likeable
but not especially bright.

Howard Dean sounds bright and tough, and can joke and grin enough to be likeable. He was, IMO, a good balance. However, he was among the straggler candidates from the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party" and Rahm did not like him. So, we got Kaine and DWS, two solid Third Wayers from the South.

Nowadays, Dean has, as a Democratic spokesperson, defended positions he probably would never have taken himself and I hardly recognize him from 2004. (Thank heaven he seems to have stopped dying his hair, though, or I really might not recognize him at all anymore.)

I am not sure who I would like to see heading the DNC. However, I am sure that any candidate about whom I could be enthusiastic would never get the job.

I do, however, cast my vote on the current state of affairs whenever they call me for more money. I tell them that I only give to individual candidates I feel I can support, if and when I find them--and I tell the DNC exactly why it will never see money from me again.
