Even as a school kid, I could never understand how one group of people who had EVER been discriminated against to any degree at all would then go ahead and discriminate against another group.

It should not have taken Obama's saying something before the NAACP said something.

The timing makes it seem that the NAACP is more concerned about covering Obama's flank than it is about justice for all.

So, better late than never, but sooner would have been better.
