Obama campaigning for Elizabeth Warren

Officially, the primary is not even over until Septemeber, but I've already seen a video made by Obama airing for at least a couple of weeks now; and I see it more than once a day.

This is in very marked contrast to the Coakley-Brown election fight.

Right now, Warren and Brown are in a dead heat in the polls, same as a month ago.

The most poll was taken to see if the recent flap over her alleged minority job applications changed anything. It hasn't so far. (The right is now saying that one of her great grandfathers, the husband of the ancestor Warren says was Cherokee, participated in driving back Cherokees--the Trail of Tears.) This whole thing is beyond stupid.

Because of her family oral history, she believed she was part Cherokee. Whether her family got it right or, as so many families do, romanticized it, who gives a damn? Every other person in the Antique Road Show who gives a family oral history on an item and honestly believes it, is proven wrong, ffs.

Will she make a good Senator, or not? That is the only relevant issue. I could care less who her ancestors in 1835 were or what they supposedly did or did not do. The rest is shiny things.
