It can take a big chunk out of your day, particularly since a/c is not common in many places. When there is cooling, it's one of those swamp cooler things--they work pretty well except on the rare humid day.

My ties to Iran and the people there are very strong. Once you get past the whole ta'aroof game and get the culture/customs wired, you can have a blast. Best chello kebab in the world, too. Good eatin'!

I like DU as well--never saw your OP, but I agree with the sentiments. I take breaks every so often--sometimes for big chunks of time, owing to other obligations.
