love the settings of his books. He seemed to like my kind of music too, although some references were slightly before my time. Little things in a story that make it more enjoyable. It makes you feel like you're in the car if you know what's playing on the radio.

I stopped reading his stuff years ago. One time a book just didn't click and I never went back. I will make a point of picking up one of his latter books and give him another shot now.
