42. As with most things, there's a time and a place.
There are places nudists can go to enjoy their preferences. Public nudity just isn't part of mainstream society. I am sure many would object to seeing naked people walking around on the street, or in a restaurant, for a variety of reasons: hygiene, morality (questionable though that may be). Think about it: how many of us avoid sitting on public toilet seats (even though that's usually perfectly safe)?

Compare alcohol: there are proscribed places where it's legal to imbibe. You can't sit on the beach with a beer, or sip wine while driving. Yet these practices are perfectly legal within the proper context.

Walk around naked in your house, your yard, your friend's house, your favorite naturist spot. I respect your right to do so, but that doesn't mean I feel like looking at you.
