When formed, I was an immediate member for many years of People for the American Way (PFAW) that still fights for the freedom of religion (and from religion) and the separation of Church and State.

PFAW exposing the religious-right bullshit and control of the people with their hocus-pocus, guilt-ladened lies of the republican Christian "right" that Reagan brought in with him.....to justify & encourage American imperialism and greed to the American people - and the piggy sick people ate it up, and are still sickly insatiable to this day - more is never enough for the republicans, the wealthy pigs and their corporations.
