This can't possibly truly reflect DU, can it? That's why I rarely post. Don't let them get you down. They're always here somewhere.

SOmetimes I have to remind myself that just because someone is a Democrat doesn't mean they are conscious or in any way mature or sensitive. Lots of projection, I guess. Otherwise, I don't understand it.

I don't know why so many folks feel the need to correct other people. The OP is unloading after an unpleasant situation that was indicative of our growing class divide, and she gets piled on here at DU by a bunch of behavior police who must all be absolutely perfect people themselves who have never unloaded when tired or exasperated or put out or any such thing, a bunch of people who ALWAYS behave perfectly and always have the most appropriate and only acceptable response to all situations effortlessly at hand! Blaahhh!

This thread has given me a real case of the yucks. I feel terrible for the OP.
