He isn't being progressive if he wants to increase the Medicare age to 67 or muck around with Republicans in the name of "reforming" social security. If this is part of a grand strategy to ultimately get to a "clean" debt ceiling vote, I'm missing it. He'll lose a lot of progressive and senior Dem support if he does those things.
