They were going republican for quite some time. Even the 2000 election travesty, the vote was still too close for a state that used to be Democratic, and how the heck did jeb bush become govenor

Florida isn't the only state, a lot of states have moved that direction

Heck, labor now realizes the problems they are having, but it was labor who helped get reagan in, even though his goal, and the republican platform goal was to destroy organized labor

The question is, why do people vote against their own interests

and of course I am not referring to those who vote Democrat or progressive, and have to pay the consequences for other people's actions, however, voter turnout gets better for progressives, things won't get better
