Rupert Murdoch just wet his pants (part 2)

No, no, the evil Murdoch didn't really wet his pants...but the Guardian is now running a story that Murdoch's newspapers hacked into the messages of John Prescott, the Deputy Prime Minister, 42 times!!!! That would be like FOX news (also owned by Murdoch) hacking into Joe Biden's phone.

Even better? The only reason the Deputy Prime Minister wasn't told of the hacking was because the bought-and-paid for police commissioner at the time covered up everything...and then was hired by Murdoch to be a high paid writer instead of a policeman.

Me thinketh that Murdoch and his minions have gone to far. Oh...and wasn't the head of FOX working for Murdoch in London while all of this was going on? How long until we start seeing proof the same thing was happening here. I mean, the British phone systems are pretty much the same here. If you know how to hack in London, you know how to hack in Washington.

Phone hacking: 45 messages from John Prescott were intercepted, court hears @ http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/may/12/phone-hacking-messages-prescott

A snippet: The private investigator at the centre of the phone-hacking affair intercepted 45 voicemail messages from the then deputy prime minister John Prescott and emailed them to the News of the World, the high court has heard. Lord Prescott's lawyers told the court that he had been the victim of "an unfortunate history of misinformation" by the Metropolitan police, who had told him repeatedly that he was not a victim of hacking. But the court heard that the investigator Glenn Mulcaire had targeted Prescott by listening to messages which he left on the phone of his chief of staff, Joan Hammell.
