We're paying them to not collapse and be replaced by al qaeda or militant assholes who want to nuke India. We're also paying them not to grow heroin.

We can remove that money because, as you say and I agree, Pakistan is a pretty lousy ally that has probably been helping bin Laden hide. But then I don't want to live with the consequences of taking our money out of Pakistan and letting its nukes fall into even crazier hands.

Sometime you gotta go with the lesser of two evils.
