I think, years from now, Obama (Egypt) will be remembered like Raygun (USSR)

Of course I know Raygun wasn't totally responsible for breaking apart the USSR, but the right wing is totally determined to remember him that way.

The neocons may think the only way to democratize a country in through bombs and guns (and plenty of contracts and wealth for their friends, wink-wink), but the non-violent democratizing of the middle east is sure to cost less, in bodies and money and taxes, and I think, in the long run, will provide more security for our country. Something the neocons, bush or Reagan couldn't or wouldn't do or even admit. They do love their installed dictators.

I do think Obama should be remembered for this, just like Reagan is. IMHO only.
