3. Wow. Reading the wikis of Abercrombie and Schatz a bit further is very interesting.
Abercrombie, born and raised in Buffalo NY, got to Hawaii in 1959, about the same time as the President's grandparents and mom did.

He befriended and attended classes with President Obama's parents (even though Ann Dunham is four years younger?).

Then there's this:

div class-excerpt]Abercrombie first participated in a political campaign in 1970 as "Super Senator", seeking the Democratic nomination to the United States Senate. Unsuccessful, Abercrombie ran for the Hawaii State House of Representatives where he served from 1975 to 1979.

So, Abercrombie was 32 when he ran for U.S. Senator, while the minimum age is 30. And what the hell does it mean to run for the Senate at age 32 as a "super Senator" when its your very first political campaign, state or federal?

Schatz attended the same private high school as Obama, and seems to have become a community activist while still in school. While going to college, he took a training course in Kenya, which supposedly prepared him to be a better public servant. He became a state senator at age 26 and head of the Democratic Party of Hawaii at age 36.

I would add the obvious: both Abercrombie and Schatz are white males in a state that is less than 25% white and a state that has a record of electing minority women.

Buffalo? Ann Dunham and Barack Obama, Sr.

Punahou and Kenya?

Seriously, what are the odds here?
