155. IMHO, the most conversative group in the world is
the Roman Catholic church. The 2nd most conservative group in the world is the U.S. Department of Defense. Throughout my Air Force career I was severely out-numbered by RW nutjobs. A First Sergeant berated me for reading a Michael Moore book while eating lunch at the food court on base. I told him "even if I disagreed with Michael Moore 100% of the time, he's still an American and I will put my life on the line to guarantee he has his right to express his opinion". Then I went on to say that he (Mr. Moore) has a right to put out a book, and I voluntarily bought it so I can read it; what's the problem with that?
The First Sergeant instantly shut up and went on his way.
