Reply #126: Well, that wasn't what happened to me.

I saw a guy over there who I sort of remembered from high school so I sent him a message saying hi.
That's all I said, just "hi".

But, he remembered how I used to rail in high school against Nixon in our American Government class, and how I said he should be impeached for secretly ordering the bombing of Cambodia and not telling Congress about it.
The Pentagon Papers came out in 1971, and the Nixon administration tried to keep the New York Times from printing any of it, as you know.

Yet, here it was, 40 years later, and after I said "hi" to that guy, he sent me message after message that were pro-Bush.
About how great of a President Bush was.
He sent me messages telling me that he had met Barbara Bush.
He even changed his avatar to use a picture of him standing next to Barbara Bush.
And then he sent me about a dozen articles from Faux Snooze or some other rightwing site to try and tell me how bad President Obama was.

Simply for saying "hi" to him.
I admit that I wasn't one of his close friends in high school, but I certainly wasn't his enemy.
He wasn't in any of my classes, except for the P.E. class we took together as sophomores, so I was kind of surprised that he even knew who I was.
I didn't have anything in my profile or on my page that even suggested that I was a Democrat.
