How do you expect the current government to do it without insurance companies. And at least the government will be regulating them more. If they have to do the % MLR thing, to their thinking they are almost "nationalized." There's no way they want that. Isn't that enough punishment for their evilness for now? I know you want them destroyed but being practical, I can only see their destruction taking much longer and not something we could do right now. Nationalizing them gradually would seem to be an answer.

There are subsidies and restrictions in the bill on who they have to insure that they would not want to and how much they can charge. To them, that's horrible. Enjoy their "suffering." Without the bill, they can carry on as usual.
