I can and will vote to re-elect President Obama

Am I disappointed? Yes. Many things I would like to see haven't happened. But I knew when I voted for him the first time that he was going to be a centrist president. I could see that in him after reading his books. I will vote for President Obama because so far he seems to be the smartest person I know of that is willing to do the job. Some time ago, I followed a link from a fellow DUer and started getting on the whitehouse and onlyadultintheroom email lists. I see the schedules this man keeps. Anybody can. I think it is amazing that he has been able to accomplish anything given the weight of the monsters this country is facing. And yet look how much has been accomplished. I shutter to think of what would have happened had he not won the election. And even more importantly now, as we have treasonous groups trying to tear our country apart.

There are many different opinions on DU, and that is a good thing. The bickering and the obstinacy is needed. It holds us to our truths. But we must all come together to help dissolve the damage that is being done to our country. These groups have been planning this for a long time. They have been grooming and posturing into our government. As evidenced in Wisconsin just to mention one. But we can stop them. We do have the constitution on our side. We must get louder. We simply cannot allow their plans to succeed. The rw is pushing us into fascism and some of them cant see that they are being led. So I show it to them. I talk about what I see going on and how it relates to the constitution or what some of the unintended consequences are. I live in Tennessee. Need I say more? I have recently heard quite a few republicans tell me they are now Independents. The republicans overreached. If it is evident in Tennessee, it should be everywhere .... This is the time. It's do or die, isn't it?

President Barak Obama is a man with integrity. In this corrupt world, that is saying something. Does he play their games? You bet he does. No President would have a snowball's chance in hell if he didn't. So I will rally around this president. I think you are going to see the majority of our nation rally around this president, if for no other reason than the alternatives. So decide what you want. Now is the time to get loud, get organized, and go after it. You will have the President's ear. He wants to be re-elected. And for that, I am grateful. While he is in re-election mode is when we need clear cut talking points . There are many, such as the funding of the faith based initiatives, as the war on women comes to my mind quite readily. We have uteruses and vaginas and we are damn proud of them. I do understand why men in Georgia think they are dirty words, down here in the south all they see are boobs! Our bodies are none of their business. And would someone tell me please why we are not winning the planned parenthood talking point with how many men are on viagra. Is the gubbermint paying for it? You bet. Does it cause unwanted pregnancies? Sure it does.

Time to sound off. So what is it going to be?
