Do you even know what it means to "work the vote"? The White House didn't have advance notice of the cloture vote scheduled--they found out the same time as everyone else. One day was all the President had to make the necessary phone calls.
And he's been a staunch supporter of DADT's repeal, so he definitely deserves some of the credit if he somehow manages to shoehorn this past the Senate. Your attempts to somehow turn a potential repeal of DADT into a negative for him are nothing short of laughable.
