"When we came in in 2010, unemployment was 9%, now it's 5.7%. Our conservative policies worked!" Obviously, it would be the Dem policies from the previous Congress that actually worked, but this will be the narrative. And people will believe it.

Still, I wouldn't be concerned about Obama in 2012 since he's such a good campaigner. But I could see it being very difficult to retake the House/Senate if they are lost this year.
